Punctum Collective

Punctum Collective
punctum collective is an international ensemble for contemporary music and an association based in Vienna. Its repertoire includes works from the 20th and 21st centuries as well as pieces composed especially for the ensemble (works by Katharina Klement, Daniela Terranova, Zach Thomas, Nava Hemyari, Evgeny Ignashev, and others). With a selection of acoustic, electroacoustic, live electronic, and performative pieces, punctum aims to create a fascinating mosaic of sound that arouses curiosity, touches emotions, and occasionally provokes or challenges.
The venues play an important role in punctum's concert concepts: the acoustic, architectural, and lighting characteristics of the space are complemented and interacted with for each individual event.
The punctum collective consists of Sarah Maria Dragović (viola, sound objects), Konstanze Heinicke (violin), Eirini Krikoni (violin), Jake Mann (clarinet, bass clarinet), Nava Hemyari (vocals, composition, electronics), and Evgeny Ignashev (composition, electronics, sound art).
